Searching for one patient record produces multiple patient records

curl \$PROVIDER_ID/patients/search\?api_token=$MY_TOKEN -s -X GET -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d '{ "billing_provider_id": 153, "first_name": "Gloria", "last_name": $LASTNAME}'; As your site does not appear to be secure, I have substituted $VARIABLES in place of actual data. The above curl yields multiple patients and not the specific patient I identified. Please advise on the proper curl script to yield a search for one patient.

In the following web page example that is listed to exemplify a method to search for patients,
billing_providers/25 in the path differs from "billing_provider_id": 222 in the data to be posted by curl. How is the script providing two identification numbers for the same object? I cannot differentiate between the two.

curl \\?api_token=abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz123456 \
-s \
-X GET \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{
"billing_provider_id": 222,
"first_name": "Sarah",
"last_name": "Connor"
