Calculates the expected payment for service lines under a state fee schedule. Your organization needs Calculation API access, otherwise the request returns 401. Each successful calculation is billed as usage.

type must be one of the state's calculation types:

CA: PhysicianService, OutpatientAsc, Pharmacy, Pathology, Dme, CopyService, MedicalLegal
NY: Medical, Psychology, Podiatry, Chiropractic
OWCP: Professional
TX: PhysicianService, when enabled for your organization

Some types need more fields, otherwise the request returns 400:

OWCP Professional: zip_code, place_of_service_type
NY types: zip_code, place_of_service_type_code
CA PhysicianService: type_of_specialty, place_of_service_type
CA MedicalLegal: type_of_specialty
TX PhysicianService: type_of_specialty, place_of_service_type, zip_code
CA Pharmacy: product_type; for compounds also dosage_form, route_of_administration, number_of_containers

201201

400Bad request. The model failed validation ({"errors": {field: [messages]}}), the JSON body could not be parsed, or a POST/PUT/PATCH request carried URL query parameters ({"error": "..."}). Also returned when a field the type needs is missing or the date of service is not supported.

401Unauthorized. The API token is missing or invalid, the user is not active, or the organization does not have API access. Also returned when your organization does not have Calculation API access.

402Payment required. The organization is locked for an overdue invoice.

403Forbidden. A required parameter is missing or a parameter is invalid (wrong type, value outside the allowed range, per_page above the maximum, bad date filter), or the path is not a valid endpoint. Also returned when type does not belong to state.

404Not found. The record does not exist or your user cannot access it.

429Too many requests. The rate limit (100 requests per minute per user by default) was exceeded. Check the X-Rate-Limit-Limit, X-Rate-Limit-Remaining and X-Rate-Limit-Reset headers, which are sent on every response.
