Create Rendering Provider

Creates a rendering provider. Send active: true to create an active provider; when active is omitted the provider is created inactive. Validation failures (for example an invalid npi or an unknown taxonomy_code) return 400; a missing required field or an invalid type returns 403.

If the Rendering Provider is not a person (e.g., lab), then entity_name should be used and type should be "NonPerson".

400Bad request. The model failed validation ({"errors": {field: [messages]}}), the JSON body could not be parsed, or a POST/PUT/PATCH request carried URL query parameters ({"error": "..."}).

401Unauthorized. The API token is missing or invalid, the user is not active, or the organization does not have API access.

402Payment required. The organization is locked for an overdue invoice.

403Forbidden. A required parameter is missing or a parameter is invalid (wrong type, value outside the allowed range, per_page above the maximum, bad date filter), or the path is not a valid endpoint.

404Not found. The record does not exist or your user cannot access it.

429Too many requests. The rate limit (100 requests per minute per user by default) was exceeded. Check the X-Rate-Limit-Limit, X-Rate-Limit-Remaining and X-Rate-Limit-Reset headers, which are sent on every response.
