Create Bill Submission

Submits the bill. daisyBill chooses the submission type from the bill's state: an original, duplicate, corrected, second review or appeal submission, or a repeat of a rejected submission. You cannot choose the type.

A corrected submission requires comment.
A second review or appeal submission requires supporting_document_ids.
Independent bill review is not supported and returns 403.

The bill must pass review and have at least one active document. The bill status changes to sent. The form PDF is generated in the background, so the form link can return 404 for a short time.

400Bad request. The model failed validation ({"errors": {field: [messages]}}), the JSON body could not be parsed, or a POST/PUT/PATCH request carried URL query parameters ({"error": "..."}).

401Unauthorized. The API token is missing or invalid, the user is not active, or the organization does not have API access.

402Payment required. The organization is locked for an overdue invoice.

404Not found. The record does not exist or your user cannot access it. Also returned when your user cannot submit the bill.

429Too many requests. The rate limit (100 requests per minute per user by default) was exceeded. Check the X-Rate-Limit-Limit, X-Rate-Limit-Remaining and X-Rate-Limit-Reset headers, which are sent on every response.
